Weekend work Yes - The practice is primarily closed on weekends. We do however participate in a weekend alliance roster and the dates are scheduled before the commencement of the new year. Worrigee Street may be asked to participate 2-3 times each year.
On Call Yes - Worrigee Street has 24/7 coverage for our patients. We cover our own patients Monday - Thursday. All Doctors and Registrars are required to be available On-Call via phone.
House Calls Yes - Our practice performs House Calls where deemed necessary to patients known to us. Health and Safety is paramount where house calls are permitted.
Nursing Home Visits Yes - Comprehensive service for all patients including palliation and end-of life care. Supported with case conerenceing (nursing, pharmacy, GP, geriatrics).
Procedure room activity Comprehensive service with skin cancer clinics, wound care, other minor procedures, IUCS insertion.
Adv Procedural Skills Yes - IUCS insertion by two senior doctors (one DRANZCOG Advanced). Advanced skin cancer medicine and surgery by one senior doctor (Masters Medicine - Skin Cancer).
