Philosophy Flexible and supportive practice with a desire to provide excellent continuity of care for our patients & a balanced lifestyle for our GPs. Family friendly practice with many registrars managing breast feeding while working in this supportive environment.
Training style Training will combine case based learning, skills sessions, observation & formal teaching sessions as well as opportunities to go off site for specific areas of interest. These may include adolscent health and education, airways management with local anaesthetist or other allied services of interest.
Special Interest Broad range of patients - 40% male and 60% female. High percentage of paediatrics with immunisation and well kids checks, including indigenous ATSI - checks both child and adults Women's Health - antenatal care, pap smears, implanon Men's Health including 45-49 year checks. Diabetes - using practice nurse, dietician and community diabetic educator Asthma & COPD with spirometry assessment. Adult immunisation including travel vaccinations. Aged care - via health assessment and ACF visits. Management of palliative care patients and chronic pain. Mental Health Care - wide range of illnesses
