Support Team Our support staff comprises an Accounts Clerk, a Medical Secretary, our Front Desk staff and the Practice Manager. The quality of our support staff is of extreme importance to the correct functioning of Kookora Surgery and to the care that is given to our patients. Extra training is available to our staff both within and outside of the surgery. The Surgery is also supported by 3 Registered Nurses and 1 Enrolled nurse.
Allied Health Staff Our surgery has several Visiting Specialists who then allow us to offer extra services to our patients. Some of the areas covered are Orthopaedics, Oral Surgery, Hearing and Psychiatry.

Demographic Area The surgery serves the city of Griffith, NSW, population 29,000, and any outlying towns, villages or farms. Some of our patients travel well over 100 kms to attend the surgery. Our patients travel from Ivanhoe and Hillston in the North to Coleambally in the south. They come from as far as Hay to the west Leeton to the east. Because of intensive agricultural activity through the Murrumbidgee Irrigation scheme, the city of Griffith and surrounds has attracted a very multi-cultural population, with over 50 different nationalities present.
