EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – Grant Funding For Practice Equipment Up To $3,000

At the Board meeting held on 8 December 2015 it was determined that in early 2016 an Expression of Interest Process will be held via which practices may apply to purchase equipment:

1. As a first step, practices will be invited to apply for $3,000 advising the intended use of the funds.
2. CCCGPT will provide funds on application
3. The practice will be requested to provide proof of purchase by 22 March 2015

Office Closure

Please note that as of 5pm on 18th December 2015, all Coast City Country Offices will be closed. Until finalisation of our involvement in the AGPT Program on December 31, if you need to contact Coast City Country Training the preferred method is by email to [email protected]. This email address is being checked on a regular basis until December 31 and your enquiry will be distributed to the applicable staff member for you to be contacted and your enquiry addressed.

Transition to GP Synergy

On behalf of GP Synergy CEO John Oldfield, please be advised that GP Synergy now have available a FAQ section on their website to help registrars, supervisors and training facilities transition into GP Synergy.

TES Updates

TES are rolling out the newest version (v1.1.8) in the next few days. This update includes language changes in the Tablet App, where ‘Assessments’ are now referred to as ‘Observations and Checklists’.
The iOS version of the app (for Apple products) is now available. If you would like to help test this instance of TES please let us know by emailing [email protected]

2015 & 2016 National Terms and Conditions Released

New terms and conditions for the employment of registrars (NTCER) has been issued, following agreement between the GPSA and GPRA. This document will provide the terms and conditions for the employment of Registrars in 2015 and 2016.
This does not apply to any existing employment contacts.

Second intake announced for 2015

A second intake has been announced for the 2015 AGPT program.
Second intake applications will open at 10.00am AEST 8 September and close at 10.00am AEST on 19 September.
CCCGPT has 9 rural pathway training positions and 2 general pathway position.

Applications are to be made on the AGPT website.

2014 GP-Start Access Issue Resolved

Original post: CCCGPT is aware that the 2014 GP-Start modules have become unsuccessful. We will update this post when the issue has been resolved.
Due to our problems earlier in the year, GPT1 Registrars already have a one month extension for GP-Start modules.

We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

Update: The issue has been resolved.

National Minimum Terms and Conditions

We have been advised by GPRA that the current National Minimum Terms and Conditions (NMTC) which were due to change on 1/7/2014 will now apply until the start of the 2015 Training year. Negotiation of a revised NMTC are due to be completed by September 2014 and will be available once these negotiations are completed.
